This product is highly recommended for areas with risk of water infiltration or for places where the condition is uncertain. Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, dirt or other contaminants. Clean the surface with a universal degreaser except asphalt shingles. Brush and rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of soap. Sand smooth surfaces for better adhesion. Using a high pressure machine may be useful in some cases. Use Sealflex Elastomeric Plastic Cement for big repairs and allow a 24-hour drying time before applying the product.
Application
Do not apply if rain is expected in the next 48 hours. Stir well before application. The product does not require any dilution. Try the product on a small surface to validate if the product is suitable. At the time of application and for complete drying, the temperature should be above 10 ° C. Ideal conditions are 25°C and 50% relative humidity. Avoid application in direct sunlight or on a very hot surface. To ensure good waterproofing and perfect finish, we recommend applying two coats. Apply a first layer always in the same direction (north to south). Allow sufficient drying time before applying the second coat. Obviously, the drying time varies depending on the application method, the temperature, the relative humidity and the thickness applied. On average, it is necessary to wait between 2 to 3 hours before the application of the second layer. Apply a second layer perpendicular to the first layer and always in the same direction (west to east). Protect the surface if drying is not complete before dew, if showers may occur. Close the container after each use.
Drying
Allow about 20-30 minutes for surface drying and 24-48h for complete drying. The drying time depends on the application method, the ambient temperature, the surface and the thickness applied.
